Engineering
It shall be the duty of the City Engineer to locate lines and grades of all streets, sidewalks, alleys or other public ways, and to determine the position, size and construction of all sewers, waterworks, reservoirs, culverts, conduits, aqua ducts, bridges, viaducts or other public works, and to prepare plans, maps or profiles of the same, and to make estimates and furnish specifications for any of said work, whenever required to do so by the Board of Commissioners.
